They call him Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightning,
No one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Flipper, lives in a world full of wonder,
Flying there under, under the sea!

Everyone loves the king of the sea,
Ever so kind and gentle is he,
Tricks he will do when children appear,
And how they laugh when he’s near!

They call him Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Flipper, lives in a world full of wonder,
Flying there-under, under the sea!

Hmm, maybe this one of those Merkin-centric cultural references that doesn't travel well.

Are you referencing a wholesome American TV show? With toothsome children and cute pets? With just enough danger and/or moral conundrums to be explored and wrapped up in a half-hour including advert time?

Don't worry, we got them all. And all the once-prime-time sitcoms got recycled through the kids' TV afternoon time slot as well.

I wonder how a tag-team Flipper-Endora vs. Jeanie-Mr.Ed would go. Arnold the pig could referee. It would be followed by Mrs Partridge and Mrs Brady wrestling in jelly, and then Gilligan and Gomer Pyle could have at it in the Cage of Death. Lassie would run the betting tote.

Hey, I had a Flipper lunchbox, and a really cool 'Desert Rats' lunchbox one year too.

Re Nostaglia Deathmatch: Gentle Ben would KICK ALL THEIR ASSES.

I so wanted one of those fanboats they got around in. Now THAT was cool.
